​Children's Books   The publisher has a long-standing interest in child development and children’s books. One of the founders of an innovative new program in her local public elementary school district, she believes that appealing to each child's particular interests and abilities is a great starting point for education. Each Dayton Publishing children's book offers a uniquely interesting experience, to be enjoyed by children and their grown-ups.

​​Dayton Publishing is a small indie press, founded in 2013. Before starting her own company, publisher Linnea Dayton spent 30 years in the publishing industry in various editorial roles and as an author and a book producer. With design, editing, and production assistance as needed, she now publishes the work of talented authors and illustrators.

​Nature & Environment  With bachelor's and master's degrees in Zoology, the publisher has a fondness and great respect for the ability to communicate science to non-scientists and not-yet-scientists who want to know more about the world around them. In clear, compelling writing their richly illustrated books build an appreciation of nature that can serve as the foundation of a desire to protect it.
